We turned an epic A.I. flaw into an Epic Finger Lickin' Good campaign.
KFC had a new saucy nugget. They said it was, “their sauciest nugget ever.” The client wanted a social idea to help support that new product that would catch on in culture and drive sales.
Since this was KFC’s “sauciest nugget ever” it went to the reason that people would be licking their fingers more than ever. After all, KFC’s tagline for over 70 years has been “It’s Finger Lickin’ Good.” Knowing AI often generates images with the wrong number of fingers, we used this flaw to our advantage, creating AI images with extra fingers needing extra licking. We essentially hacked AI in a way only KFC could.
